Who we are

Room to Plan is operated by Sounds & Sirens. Hosted sign-in is not available yet; this page describes how we intend to handle data when the public beta opens.

Account data (intended)

Sign-in is designed around a verified email code. We intend to store the email address you use to sign in, profile fields you provide (such as name, handle, and time zone), session and device records, and security events needed to keep the account usable. Sessions will be revocable from the signed-in app once it is available.

Planning data (intended)

Tasks, plans, files, discussions, and related records are designed to live in the product database for your account. Plans start private. Other people see work only when you grant access. Mentions and assignments are not intended to silently share a private plan.

Files (intended)

Attachments are designed to sit in private object storage and to be malware-scanned before they are treated as clean. That scanning path exists in the product build and local test harness; it is not claimed here as a live production practice until the hosted environment is deployed and verified. A file should be available to others only after upload checks pass.

What we do not plan to do

• No built-in AI subsystem that sends your plans to a model provider for product features.
• No sale of your planning content as a data product.
• No paywall or separate paid engine for the accepted feature set.

Export and deletion (intended)

The product is built so you can export your data and delete your account after a preview that covers shared items you still own. See account deletion. Retention and removal from active systems after deletion will follow the published production notice when one exists; until then treat this as intended beta handling, not a current production commitment.
